Joe Dunne is the Technical Director for Kerry Foods. The Foods Division of Kerry Group comprises 15 manufacturing sites, producing branded and own label Food products for Ireland and the United Kingdom.
In his role Joe is responsible for leading the Technical, Environmental and Health & Safety functions within the business. His current responsibilities include; the development and verification of food safety due diligence systems, the benchmarking of standards across the business and liaison with customers, industry and regulatory bodies
Joe is a Director of the Institute of Food Science and Technology Ireland, a Director of the Chilled Food Association and a board member of the BRC international Advisory Board. Joe holds a BSc in Food Science and a Masters Degree in Food Safety Management. He has held a number of Technical positions within Kerry Foods and previously worked as Microbiologist for GSK and prior to that worked in Government Research.
